The document is the **Registreerimistunnistus** , in parts A and B. Registration tax and transfer duty are still payable, though. The depreciation of the Hungarian registration tax follows the date of **first** registration, not the Estonian one. If the two differ, the earlier date shown in the Estonian papers is the basis. ## How much does it cost to register a car from Estonia? For an average 90 kW, five-year-old passenger car the **basic official cost** **150,000 – 210,000 Ft** , depending on whether there is a valid foreign inspection. These are basic official fees.
