The document is the **Registracijos liudijimas** (registration certificate), which also proves ownership. Registration tax and transfer duty must still be paid, though. For a salvage-repaired or US-version vehicle the procedure is individual: there is usually no CoC, and technical compliance has to be proven separately. Such a car is only worth buying once we have talked this through beforehand. ## How much does it cost to register a car from Lithuania?
