The document is the **Certificat d'immatriculation** on the French model, split into partie I and partie II — registration needs both. Registration tax and transfer duty are still payable, though. On a leased or fleet vehicle the key thing is to have the partie II and proof that it is free of encumbrances at the moment of sale — without those the Hungarian procedure cannot start. ## How much does it cost to register a car from Luxembourg?
