Why you need a bilingual sales contract
When registering a vehicle imported from abroad, the Hungarian authority asks for a sales contract in Hungarian, or one with a Hungarian translation. A bilingual contract solves this in a single document: no official translation is needed, which saves you thousands of forints and several days.
Since Brexit a vehicle imported from the United Kingdom is also dutiable — the contract is needed for the customs procedure too, not just for registration.
